That’s a Wrap! Celebrating an Incredible 2017 Bellin Women’s Half Marathon

As I come down from my race-day high, I want to congratulate our participants who accomplished a great feat. Running or walking 13.1 miles, or splitting that distance in two, is something that requires hours and hours of training — and race day means pushing yourself to the limits. Our objective for race day is to provide an event that helps you reach your goals and then celebrate! The energy I felt at the finish line and post-race celebration was electric and the smiling faces made all our efforts worthwhile.

Thank you to all the volunteers who made this possible — packet assembly, at the expo, on the course and at the finish line — you were all crucial for the great success of this event. We hope you “felt the love” from all the participants, because I know how much they appreciate you.

I also want to thank all the sponsors who make this event possible: our presenting sponsor, Lilly for Better Health; official sponsors ST Paper and the Green Bay Packers; and all our corporate and supporting sponsors. And a special thanks to Bellin Health, which works every day to achieve its vision that the people in our community will be the healthiest in the nation.

Today, I will bask in the glow of the success of our 2017 event. Tomorrow I start planning for an even better one in 2018. See you all then!
